Partner with the Capture Discount Club - It's Easy!.  Capture Discount Club is a directory of businesses that have agreed to support their local organizations fundraising efforts by providing a 10% discount to CDC members on every visit.  Fundraiser organizations buy the CDC membership cards cheap and resell them at a big profit to raise money.  Your supporters will be happy to pay for the cards since they will get discounts at many of the local businesses.  They will likely pay back their donation in 1-2 visits. 

example:

Wildcat football buys 1000 cards at $3.00 per card and then sells them for $25 per card for a profit of $22 per card.  That equals a total profit of $22,000 for the Widlcats.  No messy cook-outs, no food to sell, it's clean and easy, everybody wins.
